This is my first time blogging, so please be patient with me if I don't get it right the first time. Anyway, only 5 more days until my trip of a lifetime begins. The idea of this trip gave birth just prior to my 50th birthday. My dear friend Guy asked me to make a bucket list of things I want to do in this lifetime. On the top of the list was an RV trip across America. Surprisingly, it was on Guy's list too. Kiddingly he says, "Let's do it". I responded with a huge "YES" and the plans were underway. It's amazing to me that this is actually becoming reality and in just a few days our road trip will begin. My intent is to blog our activities and sights along the way. You as a follower can live vicariously through us and enjoy the trip as well. I promise to post pictures of some of the most amazing scenery as it unfolds to us.
I spent the majority of today running around town doing last minute errands in preparation for the trip. The excitement is growing and I am definitely feeling the butterflies in my stomach as I prepare and pack for this trip

ReplyDeleteI bicycled from the Atlantic Ocean to Colorado when I was young... I was astounded at how much land there was and how much cattle and corn fields! I was headed to California but was having so much fun in Aspen, CO that I stayed there for the rest of the summer... I know your trip will be fun and exciting. I look forward to following the blog. Maybe I'll get the incentive to go across again myself! Have fun and be safe!
